'Skimming the Surface' captures the HydraJet on the lake where the HydraJet was brought to life, this artwork freezes a defining moment in its development — the first recycled carbon-fibre production prototype planing effortlessly across the water at speed.

I painted this piece digitally, layering each brushstroke to recreate the balance of precision and power that defines the HydraJet’s design. 

Since sharing the HydraJet, I’ve received so many messages and comments asking how people can support Cova Concepts. I didn’t want to make conventional merch — it’s wasteful and doesn’t fit with my sustainability ethos. Instead, I wanted to create something meaningful and lasting: a piece of art that’s made to order, uses minimal material, and celebrates innovation.

Shipping & Fulfilment

Each print is made to order to avoid waste. Prints are produced by a professional print studio locally, the A3 and A2 get hand-signed by me, before being sent to you. This ensures every piece is authentic, personal, and part of a very limited batch.
